PolyMetal research results presented at PLASTIC GEARS CONFERENCE 2021

In injection moulded gears, friction is one of the most important characteristics, in addition to the size of the parts. Friction causes wear and heating of the gears. One of the most influential factors on friction and hence heating of gears is the surface roughness of the gears.

On June 17th, Silvester Bolka/ FTPO will give a presentation on "Effect of Compatibilizers on Surface Roughness, Mechanical, and Thermal Properties of Thermoplastic Composites with High Thermal Conductivity ". He will present  in his talk results of research work done of the project partners within the framework of the project PolyMetal.
