The 29th
took place from September 15 to 16, 2021. Originally already planned for April 2020, the event was postponed to September 2021 due to the pandemic and was now held as a hybrid event. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Polymer tecnic Leoben, the Orchestra of the University of Leoben performed for the ceremonial opening and a review of the last 5 decades and an outlook on a challenging but equally promising future were given. The partners MUL and PCCL used this opportunity to draw the attention of the international participants from research and industry to the PolyMetal project. Dr. Roman Kerschbaumer /PCCL presented his poster "Impact of Different Thermoplastic Materials on the Impression Quality of Injection Molded Parts", which he created together with the project partners, in the poster exhibition and published the more detailed paper in the anniversary publication of the event, which can be accessed under ISBN 978-3-9519792-1-2 or under the link http://dx.doi.org/10.13140/RG.2.2.36361.36963. DI Renate Reumüller invited the participants at the booth of Business Upper Austria to the PolyMetal final conference, which will also take place in Leoben on September 30.
